Tutorial how to use Offset tool in SketchUp
This feature makes it easy for you to create borders without using dotted lines, and because of their automatic nature, the outlines that are created have the same size. Examples like this.
To use the Offset Sketchup feature, it’s very easy, you simply press the letter F on the keyboard and then point it to the flat surface of the object and finally enter the size of the offset you want to make.
Offset Tool Sketchup
- First run Sketchup on your laptop or computer. Next press on F on the keyboard, then navigate to the surface of the object. After that, enter the offset size then press enter.
F is the shortcut used to display the offset tool. I have set this shortcut first. To set the Sketchup shortcut, you can see in my previous post.
